About

The Old Web was filled with weird and obscure personally made websites. The aesthetic of the Old Web has become nostalgic to those that lived during this time and a curious oddity to the younger generations. Many of these websites are still around, sitting like time capsules of a bygone era. Some are still being updated, some have stayed the same for literally decades. Many went dark years ago and are lost to time, only explorable via the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.

Regardless of how these sites are found and accessed, this community is about keeping them alive in the collective conscience. Newer sites with that hand coded, old web aesthetic, are welcome, as well as actually old ancient websites stuck in the bowels and corners of the Deep Web. The more interesting and obscure the site, the better.

Happy Surfing 🏄
