🎉400 Members and 50 Posts🎉
Here it is, the next 100 member milestone.
We've made it to 400 Members and unless somebody posts something while I'm typing this, this also makes the 50th post in the Community!
In less then 2 weeks you have made The Old Web one of the fastest growing user made Communities on the new Digg.
My hopes for the future of this Community is that it continues to grow and becomes one of the must join Communities on Digg. Exploring the Old Web and discovering the roots of one of the greatest inventions created by Humans I feel is not only important because of the historical aspect of what it's done for us as a species but because it's real deal humanity. No algorithms to feed you what it thinks you want to see. Pure exploration based on curiosity and the need for easy information retrieval and dissemination. Link to link and search after search. Finding what interests us and sharing it with the world is the spirit I want to foster here at The Old Web. It was the spirit of the Old Web. Find that old blog post that someone wrote 25 years ago. Find that weird niche website made to catalog hard to find rare information, hard to find elsewhere. Get sucked into one of the many weird horror based websites people would make, then come here and tell us all about it. There is sooooo much² out there, almost 40 years worth of Web.
Thank you all for being interested in The Old Web and don't stop being interested.
