Graphite partnered with Similarweb to analyze over 40k of the largest sites in the US to evaluate the trend in organic search traffic. They provide substantial evidence that the prevailing narrative that SEO traffic has dramatically declined is false. SEO traffic is down slightly (-2.5%), not dramatically. Traffic to search engines increased from 2019 to 2020 (+6.9%), decreased slightly in 2022 (-1.5%), and has been relatively flat since 2023 (-1.0%). In fact, traffic has increased slightly in 2025 to both Google (+0.8%) and search engines as a whole (+0.4%). Further, visitors to Google increased by +1.4% comparing Q4 2025 vs. 2024.

Google Ads Using New AI Model To Catch Fraudulent Advertisers

Google has rolled out a new AI model, ALF, to better detect policy violations and malicious activity in Google Ads. This multimodal large foundation model analyzes text, images, video, and other factors to identify fraudulent advertisers with 99.8% precision. ALF processes large batches of advertisers to compare interactions and spot suspicious outliers. Although it has higher latency than previous models, it delivers substantial gains in fraud detection performance.

Google Ads API tightens conversion data rules - Probably Going To Break Your Conversion Tracking in 2026

Google is tightening its Ads API data rules in 2026, blocking new adopters of session attributes or IP address data in conversion imports starting Feb. 2nd. Developers are advised to migrate to the Data Manager API to ensure continuity of measurement, access to richer data signals, and alignment with Google’s long-term measurement infrastructure.
