Digg GIF Issue - Uploads Temporarily Broken
The upload feature of Digg is currently broken and makes all GIFs static images. This has been acknowledged by Forest and the team is working on a fix. In the meantime, please use a site like imgur to host your gifs and then link them here. Hopefully this can be addressed soon
Every drive has to end with ice cream
I have way too many photos of ice cream and cars together on my phone. Anyone else?
Any way we can get rid of the AI generated art for the icon and banner?
Perhaps we host a short contest here where people post car photos they have taken and we pick the best one or make a collage of them?
[Potential Spoilers] Did anyone attend a live show in the US? If so, how was it?
I wasn't able to get tickets to any of the US shows, but would be interested in hearing how they were.
Just a Corvette
It’s just a Corvette, but I thought I’d share some photos of my car here. The roller was shot by benborvendeg.com. Anyone else have a car they track, rally, or really enjoy?
London - iPhone 14 Pro
Was able to take two photos I really liked from a recent work trip to London. Let me know what you like or what I could do to improve the composition.
Update - ShovelShare Browser Extension (Firefox and Chrome)
Hello again. Since I am still working to meet the requirements from the Mozilla team to re-upload this plugin to their app store, I thought it might be a better idea to share the source code with you all. On this GitLabs page, there will be links to download the plugin from the
ShovelShare – A Firefox Extension to Quickly Share on Digg
The other day someone mentioned they wanted an easier way to quickly share content with Digg. I decided I could spin that up without much trouble and made “ShovelShare”. This Firefox plugin will allow you quickly share the webpage you’re viewing on your computer with Digg easily
The Xbox Game Plan
I can't tell if I should laugh or cry at how Microsoft has mismanaged so many beloved franchises and potentially great games.
Automatic Spoiler Protection using AI
Since Digg has some AI for summaries of articles, could communities opt into an automatic spoiler prevention feature if they wanted to protect the community from something like book, movie, tv show, or game spoilers? Today on Reddit, mods are often the only line of defense and t
Inside China's Mini PC Production: How Tiny Computers Are Made
I watched this last night and found it interesting and relaxing to watch. Thought some folks here might like these kind of “how it’s made” videos too.
Test Post
Just testing that I can make a post here. Happy to be part of this community and can't wait to see what the team has planned for us.
@Justin @Forest Please Don’t Ban Me
Just wanted to highlight how the way avatars are displayed next to a user on a post could be used to mislead users. Yes, this badge is on the left instead of the right of my username, but it still looks convincing. Perhaps animating the real badges or giving Digg employees a diff
KOENIGSEGG SADAIR’S SPEAR | World Premiere
We don’t have a cars community yet, so I thought this was the closest community for this post. If we have any automotive enthusiasts here, what are you throughs on the latest 🥚? I personally love their cars and this one looks incredible. Love the big wing!
Digg Friends Feature
I’m sorry to add to the never ending pile of feature requests, but I wanted to make a suggestion based on functionality I used to love from the Reddit Enhancement Suite. Specifically, I’d love if it we could add friends to the platform so we could see their username highlighted o
Digg iOS Alpha 1.0 released.
Update now available in test flight. Improvements: - Added a comment feed to user profiles so it's easier to find the comments you've made across posts - Improved compact mode by allowing two lines for post titles - After commenting, users are now taken directly to their comme
Here’s my favorite photo from Mario Kart World.
I wish we could reply with photos on Digg so you all could share your photos in this thread. Would be cool to see what others have taken.
[Poll] Will you link your Digg account to your real name?
I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts were around tying your Digg account to your real name. Are you going to stay private or do you want the world to know you’re a groundbreaker? Side-note: Would be great to have polls on Digg in the future for posts like this.
Any ETAs for the web version or the APIs?
While in Alpha, I’d like to help test/break things. If I won’t be banned, I plan to write some scripts to gem harvest. I’ll probably start with liking every post rapidly, but then start varying how many seconds between likes to make it look natural. Thought the team might be able
Sold my A7III and took my iPhone to London.
These are some of my favorite photos from when I was in London. My iPhone is my only camera currently, and I’m trying to decide if I go all in or buy something new in the future. Would love your thoughts on the photos or switching to only using a phone for photography.
First Leaderboard after TestFlight (June 14th 2025)
I don’t think I’ll ever top this board again, so I’m going to cherish this. Congrats to the other non-employees who made it to the leaderboard today!
What Communities Do You Want Next?
If the ability for users to create 1-2 communities early opened up, what communities would you want to see created first? For me, I’d love to see: - Photography - Cars - My City (not doxing myself yet) - Bitcoin - Formula1 - HomeLab
When does the leaderboard refresh?
Since this may be the only time in my life that I hit the leaderboard before the pro meme posters arrive, I was wondering what the scheduled refresh was for the leaderboards. It looks like it’s a daily refresh reporting the last 24 hours. Is it noon PST perhaps? Thanks.
Digg iOS TestFlight Invites Going Out
Hope this is considered tech related, but the iOS TestFlight beta is going out to users via email invites. Not sure how many people can get into it, but I hope everyone who wants to help test gets an invite.
You’ve reached the end of the feed.
Roll credits.
