ShovelShare – A Firefox Extension to Quickly Share on Digg

The other day someone mentioned they wanted an easier way to quickly share content with Digg. I decided I could spin that up without much trouble and made “ShovelShare”. This Firefox plugin will allow you quickly share the webpage you’re viewing on your computer with Digg easily. Simply be on the page you want to share, click the plugin, select share, and then you’ll see a popup of the Digg submission screen launch and the plugin pre-populates the URL for you. Just pick the community and tweak the title if you’d like. I’ve never made a plugin before, but wanted to help the community share more easily. I hope no one from Digg minds.
