Advice on setting up K8 in a low-power-consumption environment?

I want to start learning more about kubernetes but electricity rates in my area are pretty expensive. Anyone have advice on building a minimum K8 setup? I was contemplating maybe getting a beelink mini PC and converting it into a proxmox server...

What are you using for 'local' backups in your 3-2-1 strategy?

I have my main NAS in RaidZ1 (doesn't count as a backup!), which is then backed up weekly to BackblazeB2. What solution do you use for your local storage on a second device/media? I would guess something that just spins up daily for a quick backup, then back down to idle.

Nice tutorial/guide for setting up grafana for Plex media server.

This is a bit older, but still relevant. It's a handy guide for configuring grafana to work with prometheus for monitoring a Plex media server. The configurations assume certain graphics cards but otherwise work fine.

Just curious: What hardware are you using for your self-hosted setup? I've been pretty happy with a series of older-generation mini PCs (HP Prodesk line) paired with a NAS.
