UK pharmacy chain collapses into administration after £5m loss
Jhoots Pharmacy, an independent UK chain, has collapsed into administration following a £5 million loss. The pharmacy faced issues including unpaid staff and inadequate stock. Allied Pharmacies acquired 129 of its branches, but the company continued to struggle. Joint administrators have been appointed to manage the business.
Jhoots Pharmacy reported a pre-tax loss of £5,028,184 in the year December 2023 before Allied Pharmacies acquired 129 of its branches.
