Air Support Unit Assists Officers In Rescue of Family Lost in Woods

A couple and their one-year-old child lost their way in Rouge Park urban forest during a hike. With the sun setting and temperatures dropping, they contacted the police for help. The Toronto Police Air Support Unit, utilizing aerial drone and helicopter thermal cameras, coordinated with officers on the ground to locate and safely guide the family out of the woods.
