An invitation to slower conversations about film
This space exists because I’m tired of talking about films only as products.
Here, cinema is treated as memory, as cultural artifact, as fragile object that survives through care, context, and attention.
I’m interested in forgotten films, alternate cuts, restoration ethics, formats, marginal works, and the strange afterlives movies develop once they leave theaters and enter archives, collections, and personal histories.
This is not a place for rankings, hot takes, or algorithm-friendly opinions. It’s a place for slow looking and thoughtful conversation.
If that resonates with you, welcome. If not, that’s also fine. Every archive is selective by nature.
