The subscription model provides Tesla with predictable revenue and eliminates the 'forever promise' of hardware capability that has caused legal and operational issues in the past. Additionally, Tesla has begun testing FSD (Supervised) on The Boring Company's Vegas Loop, a controlled environment that will eventually support speeds up to 150 mph.
