Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials turns a mediocre novel into an engaging miniseries
This Netflix miniseries, based on Agatha Christie's novel, features Mia McKenna-Bruce as the plucky Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent, who investigates a murder in her home. The series, written by Chris Chibnall and directed by Chris Sweeney, stays mostly faithful to the source material but suffers from a complicated narrative. Despite this, the engaging drama, charming British ensemble, and fine production design keep the show entertaining. The series introduces a mentor-mentee dynamic between Bundle and Superintendent Battle, adding depth to the story.
