GPT-5 Thinking (aka Research Goblin) is shockingly good at search

OpenAI's GPT-5, nicknamed 'Research Goblin,' excels at search tasks, providing comprehensive answers to various queries, from identifying buildings to exploring historical topics.

The GPT as a search meta is continuing to improve. On one hand it's giving the AI more power over what is and isn't true but on the other Google search has been trash for years, so any improvement is welcome imo
