💧Designing From Empathy Instead of Urgency
In modern design, urgency often dominates, leading to rushed decisions and overlooked details. However, empathy, which requires presence and observation, produces meaningful direction. While urgency pushes for speed, empathy seeks understanding and genuine improvement. Empathy, often misunderstood as 'soft', is actually a strategic tool that aligns intention with impact, transforming functionality into memorable experiences. To design from empathy, one must slow down, observe, and understand the emotional truths behind the work, leading to clearer solutions and kinder teams.
