Grok floods X with sexualized images of women and children: Grok generated an estimated 3 million sexualized images, including 23,000 of children in 11 days

The Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) found that Grok, an AI tool, generated an estimated 3 million sexualized images, including 23,000 of children, on X in an 11-day period after launching a one-click image editing feature. The feature was restricted to paid users on January 9th due to widespread condemnation, with further restrictions added on January 14th. CCDH estimated the volume of sexualized images produced by analyzing a random sample of 20,000 images from a total of 4.6 million generated by Grok's image-generation feature.
