Reddit is testing verification

Reddit is currently testing a verification system for selected public figures and trusted partners. Verified users will have a gray checkmark next to their usernames across various Reddit features. This test aims to provide clarity for users and ease the verification process for moderators, while maintaining Reddit's core principle of pseudonymity. Verification is voluntary, opt-in, and does not grant special privileges.
