BMW EVs Can now use Tesla Superchargers
BMW electric vehicles can now charge at Tesla Superchargers in the United States, thanks to an update that adds over 2,000 Tesla stations and 25,000+ Superchargers to the BMW Charging Network. This change enhances fast-charging availability for BMW EV owners, aligning with the industry's shift to the North American Charging Standard (NACS). BMW EVs can charge using a CCS-to-NACS DC adapter or at Magic Dock stations, which feature a built-in CCS-to-NACS adapter. The Plug & Charge function works at Tesla Superchargers, with billing handled through the customer's Shell Recharge account in the My BMW app.
They said in January it would be sometime in 2025, it still is 2025.
