TLDR

An exploration of the latest trends in sustainable fashion, highlighting innovative materials and eco-friendly practices in the industry.

Immich is a open source software service very similar to Google Photos, except that you can host it yourself. I don't have anything to do with the development of this project, I'm just a fan of it, and it's exciting to see them finally have their first "stable" version release. I've been using it for several months, and I now have my whole lifetime's worth of photos on it, plus all our historic old family photos to share with family. I like the idea of owning the server and hosting it myself so I don't have to pay Google for storage, or be concerned that Google will decide to do anything screwy with Google Photos like alter the way it works, jack up the price, splatter it with ads, or whatever other nonsense. Hosting your own server does mean you need to at least understand Docker basics, do your own backups, and setup HTTPS (or a VPN) if you want it to have remote access.
