Hot take: most “teaching resources” aren’t built for real high school classrooms.
Between pacing guides, testing pressure, and students at wildly different levels, a lot of resources that look great online just don’t survive contact with a high school classroom.
So I’m genuinely curious:
What resources have you found that are actually usable day to day?
Are there tools or materials that help students review, practice, or prepare for assessments without constant hand-holding?
What do you wish more teaching resources understood about high school students and teachers?
Bonus question: if you had to recommend one resource you’d keep even if everything else disappeared, what would it be—and why?
Looking forward to hearing what’s worked (and what definitely hasn’t).
