Am I the only one who thought Dahlia Gillespie was older?

I have beaten the original Silent Hill (1999) more than once and Dahlia Gillespie always seemed to me like an older women at least in her 60's but in reality according to this page on Silent Hill Memeories she is actually 46 years of age during the events of the game.

Maybe it's just because of the more primitive nature of the in-game graphics and pre-rendered cutscenes but regardless of the cause it does not make her any favors, I still really like her design though.
