Shirts for him - McCalls M6044

I make lots of shirts for my other half (of course he also makes the request) because quite frankly he hates buying shirts because I usually have to do some sort of alteration.
So, one of the things we agreed on was I make him shirts he would actually wear. I did alter this shirt some, mostly just so I could use the right size without it swallowing him. He's right between sizes of each pack, such a bummer but so be it. I also changed the length as it was too long and shortened the short sleeve a tad.
Outside of my changes, This is a pretty simple pattern to follow. But of course none of these patterns don't exactly talk about the things you need to finish your seams. its fine though because for his shirts, I like to flat fell everything because its more comfortable for him, and it just looks nice on the inside. Felling around curves is now easier for me but it used to be really hard. These days I do it enough its just a thing.
But felling like this takes time and planning.
The shirt doesn't have a yoke (thankfully) but does have a separate button placket. That means matching design elements has to be decent to dead on or, if you don't care, you won't care...lol
Fabric was purchased from Fabricmart Fabrics. The white is Liberty TanaLawn "Nikko", the black is BedHead shirt weight cotton fabric.
Both shirts have vintage mother of pearl buttons.
The labels are my own (I'm a greyhound mom so its an inside thing...lol)
