Syrian Government Resisting Israeli Occupation with More Price Hikes
The Syrian government has reportedly implemented a plan to resist Israeli occupation by increasing the cost of goods for Israeli soldiers. Snack, coffee, and tea stalls have been established in areas frequented by Israeli army patrols, making incursions more expensive. A group of trained General Security recruits manage these stalls, offering goods at inflated prices while claiming to sell at a loss. Military analysts suggest that stopping this plan may be difficult, as soldiers may be tempted by the snacks. The Syrian government has not confirmed or denied the plan.
