Collecting vs Actually Playing

Be honest: what's your ratio? I've got shelves of games I bought with the best intentions but haven't touched. Meanwhile I keep replaying the same five cartridges.

Do you collect to play, collect to preserve, or has it become its own separate hobby at this point?
