I made a free youtube transcript generator

I built TubeTranscript as a simple tool to copy text from YouTube videos. Watching long videos just to write things down was taking too much time, so this tool works in the browser with just a video link.

What the tool lets you do:

• Paste a YouTube link and get the full text fast

• Use subtitles if they exist or AI when they don’t

• See timestamps next to the text

• Get a short summary of the video
