Does Anyone Have Experience With: LTO Tape, Reel-to-Reel Tape, and Other Such "High Quality" Physical Media?

Is there another high quality photography medium to be aware of? One for film?

These are pro-level and I've read some of the downsides about them.

Where do you draw the line or decide where to make trade-offs with quality and cost or use cases with respect to some of these "high quality media"?
