While this guy goes kind of overboard on the whole buy old theme and goes into debt to drive an older car, I do agree that modern cars are rubbish. They're soulcrushinly boring machines nowadays, in which the driver is getting more and more isolated from the outside world and actually poses a danger on the road. Having an older car makes sure you need to use your senses and pay attention to avoid collisions, nowadays we trust computers more than we trust our own instincts. Which is ridiculous in my mind
