Fairfax Casino: Groundhog Day
Virginia Senate Majority Leader Scott Surovell has reintroduced a bill to bring a casino and entertainment complex to Fairfax County, despite opposition from Tysons residents and county officials. The proposal, which includes a hotel, performing arts center, convention center, and casino, aims to bring back money lost to Maryland's MGM Casino and generate revenue for Fairfax County. The bill requires a referendum for voter approval.
Arlington will get a gondola before Fairfax gets a casino.
