Bangkok and Chiang Mai still the top spots for digital nomads
Thailand's Bangkok and Chiang Mai rank as the top two most popular cities for digital nomads, according to nomads.com, the world's largest digital nomad platform. The rankings highlight Thailand's affordability, safety, and overall appeal, despite lower internet speeds. Bangkok leads for its connectivity and fast-paced lifestyle, while Chiang Mai offers a quieter, culturally-rich environment. The Nomad Summit and a recent HotelWithTub study further support these rankings, making Thailand a top choice for digital nomads.
Difficult to beat Bangkok to be fair. Spend a lot of time in the city and it has everything. Fast wifi, great accom, brilliant transport and infrastructure, affordable, amazing food, lots to do. Only down side is the pollution.
