Craighead Forest Park is eastern Arkansas’ premiere mountain bike trail system

Craighead Forest Park in Jonesboro, Arkansas, has recently undergone an $800K trail upgrade, adding eight miles of mountain bike trails. This expansion is part of a larger plan to develop the park into a premier mountain biking destination in eastern Arkansas. The project, completed in 2024, has introduced new and updated trails, catering to various skill levels, and has also preserved some of the park's legacy trails. The park's unique topography, atop Crowley’s Ridge, offers challenging terrain for bikers, and the area is seeing increased interest from both locals and out-of-state visitors.
