I just made an jazz app for iOS and Apple TV
Hi everyone,
I’m a software engineer based in Tokyo, and like many of you, my daily life revolves around deep focus and long hours of coding.
I’ve always found that the right background music is the difference between a productive "flow state" and a day of constant distractions. For me, Jazz has always been the ultimate coding companion—it provides a sophisticated, non-intrusive rhythm that keeps my brain engaged without being overwhelming.
However, I struggled to find a simple, dedicated tool that curated exactly the kind of jazz I needed for work. So, I decided to solve my own problem and built BlueJazz Club.
🎹 Why BlueJazz Club?
The core mission of the app is simple: To provide the perfect acoustic backdrop for creators and professionals. I wanted something that felt like a private jazz lounge at my desk. But as I worked on it, I realized I wanted that same atmosphere even when I wasn't at my computer. That’s why I’m excited to share that BlueJazz Club is available on two platforms:
• iOS/iPhone: My go-to for coding sessions at the office or in Tokyo’s many quiet coffee shops.
• Apple TV: This is my personal favorite. When I get home, I can turn my living room into a vintage jazz club. It transforms the TV into a beautiful, atmospheric music hub—perfect for winding down or finishing up a late-night side project.
🚀 Get the App
If you're a fellow developer, a jazz lover, or someone who just needs a better way to focus, I’d love for you to give it a try.
• Download BlueJazz Club (iOS & Apple TV):

Apple TV: search “blue jazz club“ In App Store
As an independent developer, I’m constantly looking to improve the experience. I’d love to hear your feedback—what’s your favorite sub-genre of jazz to work to?
Thanks for checking it out!
