Oh, yes, you still remember the Deutsche Mark

We were at lunch break a while ago with a good handful of coworkers, and me (early 40s) happened to be the oldest one in the room. The chitchat went about what we bought with our first wage, and I mentioned I bought a new PC for a few hundred Deutsche Mark (which was replaced by the Euro on 1st of January 2002, so a few months after I had started working)

The second oldest in the room looked at me "oh... yes. You still have remember the Mark". That second oldest in the room was still busy with her thumb at that time, the other ones in the room hadn't been born yet.
