10 years ago on this day, Satoru Iwata passed away

Today marks 10 years ago since Satoru Iwata passed away. Iwata was a well known man in the gaming industry but mainly on his work at Nintendo. He was CEO and President before his passing. He was a beast of a programmer and coder, pulling off quite the feats that improved many games and saved others. After the Wii U failed to meet expectations, Iwata took a 50% pay cut to help pay for other employee salaries, still being seen as a very honest and caring move even to this day. He was also a man who wanted to be seen by the community. He had a series called "Iwata Asks" where he held interviews with developers about all sorts of gaming related stuff, and what goes through developing a Nintedo game. Many more things can be said about Iwata. Without him, we would never have gotten the amazing games and consoles that we did. Iwata passed away 11th of July 2015, at 55 years old due to bile duct cancer.
