2026 F1 Pre-Season Testing

The first stage of testing takes place in Barcelona from 26 to 30 January 2026. These are private sessions, held behind closed doors. No fans, no live timing. Teams focus on basic work – reliability, setup checks, and understanding the new cars under the 2026 regulations.

Official pre-season testing then moves to Bahrain. The first session runs from 11 to 13 February 2026, followed by a second session from 18 to 20 February 2026. Teams run race simulations, test tire behavior, and prepare final setups.
