🍱🔥 Japanese Diet Challenge 🔥🍱
So I’ve been reading up on the Japanese diet and honestly… I wonder if this works 🤔
Has anyone here tried it??
It looks like this isn’t the typical fad diet. Not starving. Just real food, smaller portions, loads of veg, fish, rice, soups, and eating until you’re satisfied not stuffed.
And most importantly it’s Japanese food that I already loooooovrrr♥️
What it is (in simple terms):
• Protein-forward (fish, chicken, tofu, eggs)
• Rice instead of bread
• Soups + veg every day (major fullness hack)
• Minimal sugar, minimal processed food
• Slower eating, smaller plates
Does it work for weight loss?
From what I’ve read, people tend to lose weight because:
• Meals are filling but lower calorie
• Less sugar = fewer cravings
• You eat often but don’t overdo it
• Portions are controlled without feeling miserable
Now… full honesty 👇
I’m always hungry. Like… always.
But I love Japanese food, and this doesn’t feel like punishment eating. It feels warm, comforting, and actually doable. So I’m gonna give it a go and see how it feels for me.
Over the next few days, I’ll share:
🍜 What I’m eating
🍱 Simple meal plans
🔥 What works / what doesn’t
Important bit:
This is something I’ve researched for myself. I’m not a dietician, just a foodie who loves eating and wants to eat better without hating life 😅
Anyone else ever tried this “challenge”?? 👀🍙
