As a first post - just an ordinary Wednesday at St Thomas'. What great singing!

Of course, Evensong is about what happens every day, on ordinary days. It's all well and good getting excited by sharing videos of spectacular, "big" music on feast days. But an ordinary Wednesday is where it is at.

It always reminds me of the saying about the Coronation of King Charles: the choirs were so spectacularly good. Why were they so good? Was it because they rehearsed so much? No. It's because they do this every day, just as good, even for a handful of people.
