UI is awful

Do a version like old.reddit.com.... why tf is there random shit taking up half my screen on either side? I don't need a "feed" on my homepage. Just show me a simple list of posts. God damn, every UI is extremely bulky and slow nowadays. I'll stick with Reddit, this is the best they could come up with?
