Kevin Smith To Write ‘Bizarro: Year None’ For DC Comics

Kevin Smith, known for his work in Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma, is set to write Bizarro: Year None, a four-issue limited comic book series for DC Comics. Co-written with Eric Carrasco and illustrated by Nick Pitarra, the series delves into the origin of Bizarro, Superman's backwards doppelgänger. The story follows Jimmy Olsen and Perry White as they embark on a journey to a dimension mirroring Metropolis, encountering a being who may be a misguided Superman fan or an agent of chaos. Bizarro: Year None #1 is scheduled for release on April Fools Day, 2026, with subsequent issues released monthly through July.
