President Donald Trump has commuted the federal prison sentence of James Phillip Womack, the son of U.S. Rep. Steve Womack, R-Ark. Phillip Womack was sentenced to eight years in prison for distributing methamphetamine. The commutation leaves intact his five years of supervised release. Rep. Womack thanked Trump for the commutation, which allows his son to be with his family during a difficult time.
