Schat's or Great Basin? The great bakery debate...

Ok, so it's not really that big debate. Tourists love Schat's. Locals love Great Basin. I don't think I've set foot in Schat's bakery in over 15 years. Everyone's favorite Bishop High AP English teacher, Jeff Perry, and his wife started Great Basin Bakery quite a while ago now. Their main location is at 275 S. Main Street in Bishop, and they have an Outlet store at 1357 Rocking W Drive (near the new Marshall's). If you crave really great baked goods and friendly service, stop by Great Basin, is my personal recommendation. Hey, if you love Schat's, that's fine, too. I'll only judge you silently, ya tourist... <grin>
