ASUS ROG x HIFIMAN Announces Kithara Planar Magnetic Gaming Headset

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the ROG Kithara, its first high-fidelity planar magnetic gaming headset, developed in partnership with HIFIMAN. The headset features 100 mm HIFIMAN planar magnetic drivers, a wide frequency range of 8 Hz to 55 kHz, and an open-back design for clear sound separation. It includes a full-band MEMS boom microphone, swappable plugs, and an 8-way adjustable headband for comfort. Expected to be available in the Philippines by the end of Q1 or early Q2 of 2026, the ROG Kithara will likely command a premium price.
