Kindle Unlimited
Has anyone used the service and what is your opinion of it? I signed up for a six month non recurring subscription some time ago. I knew that many of the books I could find with relative ease on the Internet but I still naively thought, maybe Kindle Unlimited has a deeper collection or a better recommendation system. Nope, the titles on offering are absolute pathetic (many are either already in public domain and unlike my initial assumption, the quality of books on offer(whilst there is no objective way to track it) seemed to lean a lot towards children books and trite generated via AI.
Sure, there were some or the other good books (I did find one good book that I finished) but they were like finding haystack in the sand. It is like being burned.
Unlike a music streaming library (where majority of songs are ready to be streamed), it presents an exceptionally tiny minority to the user. Oh, and the Kindle app on Android is a bloated mess.
