The departures, which have been in the works for several weeks, also include former OpenAI staffer Sam Schoenholz. These exits are notable as they occur less than a year after the startup's founding and could pose a setback for Thinking Machines, which has already lost other key personnel. The company, which has raised $2 billion in seed funding, is now led by new CTO Soumith Chintala.
