S22 Ultra Black Screen — it’s "alive" but I’m flying blind?
Hi, so this morning just moments after i shut down my alarm and wanted to check my notifications my phone turned black.
No drop, no water, nothing.
Tried to reset multiple times. And just found out I can still feel the vibrations, i could restart my phone, gave in my sim code and phone code and opened samsung dex (backupped everything) But all of this was while the screen is still black. I could even take photos and saw them pop up on samsung dex. But still with black screen on phone.
I see the Samsung logo for a split second sometimes, then it just flickers and dies again. I’m worried it’s a loose ribbon cable or some internal moisture issue since I was out in the rain yesterday.I was reading a thread where someone mentioned using DroidKit to trigger a system repair for "Black Screen" issues just in case it's a firmware glitch and not hardware, but I'm worried it's actually the OLED panel that gave up the ghost.
So what is the problem you guys think? Is this a physical problem the screen is death? For an expensive phone i'm rather dissapointed :/
(Extra info: I can only think about 2 things that could have happend: yesterday in my car the airco blew directly on my phone so it felt very cold when i took it home (moist?) or 2: on my case there is a magnet to attach it to a magnetic holder in my car. Did the magnet fck up my screen? Using this holder for up to 4 months already. Never let my phone fel or wet or anything.
