Help needed: I've forgotten my Android phone password and can't access the system. How can I unlock it while preserving my data?
My device is a Redmi K40, and it's currently locked after I entered the wrong password multiple times. It now displays "Locked for 30 minutes." I set a complex lock screen password for my phone, and after changing it yesterday, I didn't record it, and now I can't remember it at all. I've tried every combination I can think of, but none of them are correct. The phone currently shows that I need to wait 30 minutes before trying again.
I tried unlocking it remotely through Google's "Find My Device," but this requires the phone to be connected to the internet (the phone can't connect to Wi-Fi while locked). I also considered entering Recovery mode, but I'm worried about accidentally wiping my data.
My question is: How can I unlock my phone while preserving my data? I'm willing to consider reasonable technical solutions, including paid services.
Every photo and file on my phone is very important to me. Thank you for your time and any help you can provide!
