Best way to test hair colors with AI (Nano Banana) before dyeing my hair?
Honestly, are you also stuck in that uncertain phase about your hair color?
I really want a change, but I’m terrified of hating it. If the color turns out wrong, it’s not just a bad week—it’s months of seeing it in every photo, every shoot, every mirror. I keep going back and forth between going lighter, trying a copper shade, or doing something softer like a pastel pink, and then the second I think about actually booking an appointment, I just freeze.
Recently I started using Nano Banana’s image‑to‑image tool, and it’s the first thing that’s actually helped. I can upload a real photo of myself and tell it to only change the hair color—my face, hairline, makeup, and background all stay exactly the same. Seeing myself in different shades (creamy blonde, muted copper, dusty pastel pink, etc.) in the exact same pose and lighting has made it way easier to compare what actually suits me and what definitely doesn’t.
Has anyone else used Nano Banana (or something similar) to test hair colors before committing?
Any tips on:
how to word the prompts so it really only changes the hair, and what’s the best to get the most realistic result—and maybe finally cure this hair‑color decision paralysis?
