Iβm a dev (and a tired dad). Here is the "Calm Stack" I built to survive the chaos.
Hello /ai-parenting. π
Looks like I'm the first one here, so I'll break the ice.
I started building "Awesome People Software" because most family tech feels loud, invasive, and cluttered. I didn't want apps that demand my attention. I just wanted utilities that did the job and got out of the way.
My thesis is simple: AI should handle the chaos so we can handle the connection.
Here are the 3 tools I built to keep my own house running (and why):
1. The Logistics Fix: Add to Calendar (iOS) I was losing track of events in the chaos of raising kids and work. I built this to scan flyers and screenshots directly into my iOS calendar in seconds. Just immediate "mental load" relief.
2. The Bedtime Fix: KidsAIStory (Web) Logic doesn't work on my toddler at 7pm, but stories do. We use this to generate "social stories" on the fly. If they are scared of the dentist, we spin up a story where they are the hero who visits the dentist. Itβs a behavioral hack that feels like magic.
3. The Digital Fix: Walk Down Memory Lane (iOS) I had 80k photos but never saw them. This acts as a "digital janitor" to surface memories and help me bulk-delete the junk photos I don't need anymore from this day. It keeps me from getting overwhelmed and lets me reflect on how my kids have grown on this specific day.
I'm curious. What is the one "bug" in your daily parenting routine you are dying to fix?
