OpenAI to test ads in ChatGPT as it burns through billions - Ars Technica

OpenAI is testing ads in the free tier and new $8/month ChatGPT Go plan in the US. The ads will appear at the bottom of answers and will be labeled and separated from the answer. The company plans to test ads “at the bottom of answers in ChatGPT when there’s a relevant sponsored product or service.”
