Apple: please bring video back to Apple Podcasts 🙏

I would love to see Apple Podcasts make video a first-class feature in their app again. Specifically, I'd like to see them adopt the ability to switch between the audio and video versions while consuming an episode. (This is the UI paradigm that's already been adopted by YouTube Music, Spotify, Fountain, and TrueFans.) Back in 2007, it was video podcasts in Apple's iTunes that got me into podcasting! I watched Diggnation (Kevin Rose + Alex Albrecht) and TWiT (Leo Laporte) on iPod Video while commuting on the bus. There is demand from creators and consumers for video podcasts – we need to deliver an open-podcasting alternative to closed platforms like YouTube.
