China reveals 200-strong AI drone swarm that can be controlled by a single soldier… ‘intelligent algorithm’ allows individual units to cooperate autonomously even after losing communication with operator
China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) has unveiled a 200-drone swarm system, the Swarm II, that can be controlled by a single soldier. Equipped with an intelligent algorithm, the drones can communicate autonomously, allowing them to perform tasks like reconnaissance and strikes even if they lose contact with their operator. The system can launch from a land vehicle, has a top speed of 100 kph, and an endurance of over an hour. China is also developing drone carrier ships to extend its drone strike capabilities.
