The TikTok deal in the US has been finalized, with TikTok now under the ownership of a new joint venture, TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC. ByteDance retains a 19.9% stake, while Silver Lake, Oracle, and MGX are the managing investors with 15% each. The joint venture will oversee data protection, algorithm security, content moderation, and software assurance for US users.
