Question: What Is The Best Way To Learn Python?

Howdy! My wife and I are trying to a challange "learn new things" every month, and one of my goals is to learn some sort of code. Based on my homework, I think Python is the route I want to go. I did C++ in college (if it matters for the subject at hand). And I am sure Python will take more than a month to learn, and even longer to master, but I at least want to figure out the basics. My question: What is the best route to take to learn Python? I am hoping to go as financially cheap (if not free) as possible. I don’t mind paying a little bit if the service is worth it. I appreciate you guys in advance!
